Coleman and Waylon Jennings are not related, at least biologically!
The late American country singer Waylon Arnold Jennings was born on June 15, 1937, to his parents, Lorene Beatrice Shipley and William Alvin Jennings, in Northwest Texas.
Unlike his musical career, which saw a stable rise, Waylon did not have a stable marriage. He married four different wives: Maxine Lawrence, Lynne Jones, Barbara Elizabeth Rood, and Jessi Colter.
He had six children from those marriages: Shooter, Buddy Dean, Terry Vance, Julie Rae, Tomi Lynne, and Deana Jennings. In 2002, the singer passed away at 64 in Arizona.
Meanwhile, the uprising singer Coleman Jennings was born on February 28, 2001, in New York and grew up in Connecticut until he was 7. Then he moved to Texas, Austin, which he now calls his homeland.
Apart from that, not much information is available about his family and origins. But in an interview with Texas Standard, he revealed his musical roots, saying his mother was artistic and had Broadway shows under her belt.
If you look at their family tree separately, there is no overlapping between them. Thus, apart from the identical last name, nothing suggests Coleman is related to Waylon Jennings.
Additional Information
